A Papery Feel
Welcome! If you're familiar with my blog, you already know this. I don't self-promote often.
As you can see, real books. Handsome trade paperbacks, even.
While I do a weekly book review, and will often promo friend's books, I usually let the sidebar links or the pages devoted to each series do the talking for me. I figure if you're here more than once or twice, you know I write. And if you enjoy the blog, you might enjoy my books. But today I'm offering a special Cyber Monday deal.
I don't keep a lot of my paper books on hand. No room, and, well, it feels vain. Usually you can go here and find all my titles, both ebook and paper. However, this week if you order a paper book directly from me, I will sign it, further deface it with a sketch if so requested, and ship it out in time for Christmas. I'm planning on shipping on Friday, Dec 5th. Orders that come in after that will likely not be shipped until the coming Thursday, Dec 11th, due to my Finals Week, and I can't guarantee they will arrive in time. I'll try...
If you'd like a papery feel in your hands, send the sum total of your order via paypal to cedarlili at yahoo dot com (reformat as proper email address first!) along with a shipping address and any notes on what you'd like written in the book(s). On hand, I have:
212019 Pixie Noirregularly $14.99on sale for $12543 Trickster Noirregularly $14.99on sale for $1211 The Eternity Symbiote
regularly $12.99on sale for $84 The God's Wolfling
regularly $12.99on sale for $107 Vulcan's Kittens
regularly $14.99on sale for $10
I will update these numbers every day this week, or as needed.
On the other hand, if you'd prefer a weightless gift, one that won't clutter up the habitat of the recipient, I'd recommend an ebook. I'm afraid I haven't yet come up with the knack of signing electrons, but it is an easy way to give presents, and saves time, to boot, if you're a procrastinator. And wrapping paper if you're all thumbs when it comes to that. Giving a book is always a great idea, it's entertaining, doesn't inspire the 'oh... what is it?' of a gag gift, and keeps the kitchen clutter-free of that sixth crockpot.
In order to give the gift of an ebook, all you need to know is the email address of your intended recipient.
Simply look for that Give as Gift button at Amazon, or Buy as Gift at Barnes & Nobles. For my books, I never have DRM on them, so they can easily be read with a Kindle, on the computer, or any smartphone or tablet with the Kindle Apps. Also, they can be downloaded to Calibre and converted to other formats, for the tech-savvy.
If you've got questions, feel free to ask in the comments, I'll check in between classes. Oh, and if you already have all my books, and enjoyed them, please share this blog post around and help support the author's endeavors! It only takes a second to share (see the sharing buttons?) on your social media of choice, and it really does help. I appreciate it.
Tomorrow will be back to more interesting topics, but for today, thanks for all your support, everyone! I am really thankful for my readers. Still surprises me how many of you there are.
