All Good Things
Our time at the convention is drawing to a close. It never ceases to amaze me how much we can pack into just three days. I've wished I could twin myself several times, there has been so much to see and do that I couldn't possibly fit it all in. The First Reader and the kids have been enjoying themselves, but I know he will be ready to get home and away from crowds. Yesterday was almost non-stop from 11 am to midnight, with my only break a meal to help me recover from donating blood. I just couldn't push through that one.
I realized as I was downloading the camera's memory into my laptop that I didn't take a lot of photos yesterday. Some of this was simply that I'm still adjusting to using a larger camera for snapshots - I'm more likely to feel like I'm being in someone's face with the Rebel than I was with the tiny Sony Cybershot - and some is simply that I was in too much of a hurry to remember it.
