Congrats , Cedar. On the road in Wisconsin and wish I had time to say more. Except I fear that I'm selfish in my congratulations because now I can look forward to more of your work. ;-)
Good for you! Things are settling down enough for me to do what I really want to do, most of the time. At last. I’m over 60, and have always done what was expected of me. I’m not sorry—they were also important things. But NOW—I can do what I want, mostly. I am still a caregiver for an elderly parent, and a profoundly disabled child. Neither of them live with me. I do work—as an editor, because I LOVE it! and because it gives me money for conferences, conventions, and events—and all the books I dare buy! And I can write. Life is so good. I’m glad for you that you got to this point.
Oh, and I referenced you when speaking at last week’s conference—there were people in my audience who knew your name, too, that’s cool! I used you as an example of how to create your own “brand” with your physical appearance and consciously think about the clothing and accessories which make you feel like the most successful, best you for events. Thanks for that!
You are welcome! That's something I learned in a previous career as an entertainer, being cohesive and put together is about all an author needs, not full costume... that is fun, too!
Go, go, Cedar! 😀

Safe travels! Wicked weather out that way tonight.
Thanks. Been storming all round us tonight
Once I get past another round of clinicals I've promised myself I'll figure out how to get the Kobo set up.
I've missed too many good books, and don't want to miss this one.
