I wish I had these the year I taught 2nd Grade to share with the kids as a treat for their hard work. I'm sharing the videos with my nephew, whose boy just turned 2. 🙇♂️
& yo momma proudly and justly lauded you, over on MeWe, for doing so some months back.
I'm reminded of a Japanese friend, one of her son's favorites was the Japanese edition of Joyce's The Cat and the Devil which she read to him often. Years later they were visiting France and while in Beaugency both were quite excited to see the very bridge the cat crossed! ;-)
My Just So Stories doesn't have The Tabu Tale though. I need to see whether the book I have in England has it or not
I'm not sure how much Kipling you plan to read but I think you (and Juniper) might enjoy some of "The Day's Work" - the Maltese Cat and .007 for two.
And of course in the "written for children" list there's Puck of Pook's Hill and Rewards & Fairies which I recall having my mother read to me (well she started, somewhere half way through the former I took the book and read it myself to find out what happened next....)
I plan to read some of the Jungle Books, but after I finish up with The Princess and Currie. And those are good suggestions! I can see I may be carrying on with this for a long time.

I love that! We read aloud to one another almost every night when I was younger, into my late teens. Many books I love and still remember fondly.
BTW I made mobi versions of all of Kipling 15 years ago and put them up here https://www.di2.nu/files/kipling/

Thank you Francis!

What a wonderful labor of love.
