Never gave much thought to the glue in cardboard, but it is a good point. Have been using it for decades in sheets and shredded form. It all turns in to black loamy topsoil quickly when mixed with other amendments. Worms and other soil bugs seem to thrive in it.
Cute!
Amazon is a vast conspiracy backed by cats to distribute boxes.
No cats at the moment. All my Amazon boxes go throught my shredder and become fodder for my compost piles.
Once Toast is done with a box I tend to layer it under mulch. But not before she's done :D
I tend not to use card board as mulch because of glues in it. I havent researchrd it but just have the asumption that wouldnt be good.

Suddenly, the world makes sense. :jawdrop:
The Curmudgeon!!! :-D
This is great. I look forward to reading the next installment.
A fine tail, err, tale.
“Soft touch”? You weren’t supposed to spill the secret LOL.
I can't wait for more Toast and friends.
Awww
I love it!
Cuuuute!
I love it!
Leo will guard the contents of the box and keep me from removing them. 😉
Toast will do that sometimes. If there’s loose paper for packing she must have it. Rustles are pounced upon!
I have to be careful, leaving paper where Leo can get at it. If it ruistles it's for biting. He would make a good cross-cut shredder.
Toast chews on paper, too. I have to keep documents where she can’t get at them.
Watching the joy with which Leo bites and tears at receipts...it's like a kid at Christmas.
Great to see this in the wild!
I wish Steph was here to see this. She'd love it.
I miss her. Going to LibertyCon this year won't be the same without her and Spike.
