It’s the day after Christmas, you have a giftcard burning a hole in your pocket, and what you really wanted to get were books. Now is your opportunity to do just that! Books of all sizes, shapes, and descriptions. Some written by yours truly, some illustrated by my pen, and many others by authors who write in all genres. Because I’m not enough and that’s ok!
First, I’m taking part in a big sale. You’ll find a couple of my books in it, and many others you might enjoy. Just because they are Young Adult or New Adult doesn’t mean they can’t be read and enjoyed by any age. However, ebooks are also really easy to gift! Encourage young readers by giving them a book. Or three.
Secondly, and not on sale like the books above, but for my regular readers and fans (bless you, every one!) I have two new releases you might not have seen yet.
One October Night is the collaboration between Sam Robb’s amazing imagination and my N’inktober illustrations. It’s now available in both ebook and paperback. I really hope you all love it, we put a lot of work into it. More than a month!
I have a short story, Drema Little Dream, in the latest Raconteur Press anthology, under my penname Lilania Begley. I plan to be writing more sweet Western contemporary romance in 2024, so you will be seeing more of that name! If you missed Farmhand, Drema is one of the characters mentioned in it, who got her own bittersweet tale, but not until she’s encountered Spurgle… I had fun writing the story, and the whole anthology is a hoot to read. I highly recommend it, and yes, that’s my brother-in-law’s name on the cover! He’s a hilarious writer.
Need more? Mary Hare has a couple of novellas free through the end of the year. Sarah Hoyt has several of her works up for sale prices. For some awfully good pulp (emphasis on the awful, there, but fun) look up IktaPop media, starting with the full Hawk Carse stories.
I’d love to hear what you’re reading!
