Organic Design
I'm still uploading, slowly, years worth of photos to DeviantArt, you can browse my gallery here. As I'm doing it, I realize my first reader's teasing is spot on. I really do stalk bugs for photos. Tons of bug pics in my archives, especially pollinators. So I was thinking. As I start to teach myself spaceship design this summer (so I can then blow them up artistically) shall I draw organic designs, using the bug photos as springboards for shapes, textures, and wing patterns?
Or a more geometric approach? Which would be better?
Dragonfly, the ultimate NOE flyer and predator.
The Mayfly, the most ephemeral of creatures.
The bee-hunter fly. Nough said? Predator aloft!
