Howdy to all of you who’ve chipped in to keeping me writing and the coffee mug full. I appreciate it more than I can say. One of the ways I try to show my paid subscribers a good time is to share what’s coming from the keyboard, before anyone else gets it. Sometimes I’m writing at breakneck pace and that’s not practical, or I’m bouncing all over the map like a butterfly and that’s probably going to annoy everyone (including me). So when the timing is right, you’ll get to sample raw, rough drafts of my work.
There will be errors. Names may change. Entire subplots might morph prior to publication. As you might imagine, I don’t certify this as being a good time. I do think that if you tell me ‘hey, you did…’ then I’ll be happy to go take a look and see if I meant to do that.
Warnings out of the way, without further ado, this is the first section of the work-in-progress. Tanager’s Flight is the sequel to Tanager’s Fledgling’s, the second book in a planned trilogy. This space opera story is focused on a young Trader captain, his ship, his dog in the first book, and how he manages to make his mark on the world around him.
