Reading, Writing, and...
Good Morning. I'm up at Mad Genius Club this morning talking about the predicted decline and death of ebooks, and why I think that's premature. I am also asking for help and recommendations with a tablet and apps for my sister Juniper. This is a special case, as what we need for her is essentially what a pre-schooler would need, including the ability to lock her out of settings.
Other than that, the usual insanity of school continues. This is officially the last day of my winter term class, and Spring semester starts Monday. I already have homework and a quiz. I will not finish Dragon Noir before Monday. I'm ok with that. I think I figured out what my problem was with the story, and it's flowing from here, I know the ending, and all I have to do is get there. Another 20K words, and I ought to have it in the bag the first week of February. Those of you who have served most excellently as beta readers can expect to receive an email inquiring if you're up to it again. Thank you, really... couldn't do it without you.
I'm at the point again where I've got a lot of balls in the air, and I never did learn how to juggle anything but scarves. I'm making a list this morning, trying to tot up all the commitments so I don't miss any. If you are one of them, you can always ping me to remind me. I don't mind, and the way life is, I don't want you mad at me, I'd rather be nagged.
Life is short, eat more pie.
