You are something else, you know? Lovely, wonderful, amazing people. I set up the paid tier never thinking anyone would really do it. And now that there are - several of you! - I have been thinking about a way to thank you, and reward you for being so very supportive of my words and work.

Right now, with the limited time and energy, I thought I’d post snippets of the work in progress. The current WIP is about 12K words, headed for novella length at 20-25K words and hopefully a Halloween publication date, if not earlier. It’s the third entry into the Groundskeeper universe, so if you enjoy young Chloe and her care for the sprawling cemetery Belleview, hopefully you’ll enjoy this.

I do invite you to give any feedback you’d like, as these will all be raw rough drafts that are in need of editing, but this will only be open for comment and reading to paid subscribers. Thank you, thank you, I can’t tell you how much your support has meant. It got a little dusty every time you chipped in toward my work.

What follows is the first chapter of the novella, and I’ll post another chapter or section every few days. Perhaps, as I find time to write, those are days I’ll post so you’ll know I’m actually on top of things… or should it be more scheduled than that?
