Single-handed
It isn't until you aren't fully capable of using one hand that you realize how much of your life depends on having two available. This isn't the first time I've dealt with this particular quirk in life - the first big hurdle of having a baby was learning to do everything while I held her in the off arm. With baby #2 (now known as the Ginja Ninja) I discovered babywearing, and a sling that worked for both of us (I'd tried one with Eldest but it just squished her and I worried, so it came right off) and suddenly! both hands free! well, some of the time anyway. I joke that the GN latched on before her cord was cut, and didn't come off for a year. She's always been a big baby, and may be the tallest one in the family currently - I need to back her up to the First Reader and measure them! LOL
This time is much less nice than constantly carrying a babe in arms. I've pinched a nerve, or something, in my left shoulder and spent all day yesterday pretty much unable to use that arm. Today I have more motion, but it's still painful and my fingers tingle unpleasantly. I'll keep up the stretching, that seems to help after it hurts a LOT, but in the meantime... I have dragons to make, stories to edit, and a house to clean. All of which means two hands. Sigh.
Ok, maybe the editing doesn't need two hands. I can delete stuff with one. I think.
