With a Twist
I'm in this anthology! I had an absolute blast writing the story for it. Jim Curtis gave a lot of leeway to the authors - just take a trope that may be old and tired, then give it a hard twist.
I opted to speculate about what could happen if the Chosen One of Prophecy was called on to save the kingdom, and they showed up about sixty years too late... oh, and the denouement itself is a trope twist. Like I said, I had fun. I think you'll have fun reading all of the stories.
You can find Twisted Tropes here, or click on the cover.
If you are looking for more funny when you've gotten through that one (because who doesn't need more excuses to laugh and unwind these days?) you'll want to read Cecil the Combat Wombat by Kelly Grayson. I did the cover for it, and all I can say is... that man ain't right.
