^ Could have been a Bulwer-Lytton contender if it had been the first sentence of the opening paragraph. A little embarrassed to admit it, but I was hooked into buying this by the "feculent T.O.S" word bomb and the Alice in Wonderland aspects. Mostly it was the A.i.W. aspects. 99%, at least.
