I am about to be gifted a cousin-load of cherries. Do you have any good ideas for recipes? Something maybe even quasi savory with, say lime zest and ... thyme? Sage? Marjoram?

Never worked with cherries before! Bookmarking that plum tart recipe for when the church plums come in. Thank you!

I like a cherry clafoutis very much.

So for savory? I'd consider a chutney. They are usually intended to be served with meat, and are often spiced and savory rather than jammy. I'd love to play around with that!

I had to look up clafoutis - that does look good! Also belated thanks viz the simple custard when recovering from an illness. It came just in time for my mom. I use peaches to make salsa for spicy chicken quesadillas.
