During and following the covid crazies I did a lot of throwaway paintings on saved cardboard boxes, mostly beer boxes, not acid carboy packing such as you saved and used, -but to each his or her own. ;-)
Congratulations on getting back in the swing! Like any muscle it hurts! Especially, our sense of "but I was better than that!". But, one thing I have found over the years of art/drawing/etc is that I ALWAYS make a big leap of skill after I've been away for a while and then warmed back up again. I'm sure you will, too. (I just packed up all my art things again so that we had room for hubby to have an office, as he is now working from home, so it's going to continue to be almost all digital for me, though I do have markers and gel pens!).
Love the art, Ms. Cedar, especially the sumi-e. 👏
Yep, daily doodles, I ought to get back in the habit as well. https://www.ipernity.com/doc/319805/album/700743

You still have your eye, no question. And Miss Kitty in the second drawing down has plenty of 'tude.

Love the dragonflies and orchids!
