I was going to find fertile eggs for my broody Tilly, but maybe sneaking a few babies underneath is a better idea...

Good luck! My friend doesn't have a rooster, or I might have taken the egg route.

"Chickens always find creative ways to die."

I've been seeing that first hand! My brother and I both decided to get chickens 2 years ago. He lost 3 or 4 before they made it to adulthood. All 8 of mine made it to adulthood, and I'm proud to say I still have 6 of them!

I'll keep this little tip in mind! I have isabrowns and 1 Ameraucana and none have shown any signs of broodiness, but I'm hoping to grow my flock next near and add in some Rhode Island Whites if I can find them and get me a rooster.

I did find that I greatly enjoy those stupid birds lol I never had an idea that I would like having chickens running around as much as I do!
