Reading Material!
To start off with, I have a couple of stories out in the wild. You can find Bad Ash in Claus of War: Santa’s Battle Chronicles, which is live on Amazon now.1
You can read a snippet of that story here on my blog to whet your appetite:
And for something completely different, my story of a flea, a circus, and a magician appears in Library Creatures2 alongside some really fun stories all about the denizens of that favorite place to visit: the library. I was tickled to realize that not only was my story in this book, so are the stories of my brother-in-law Ted Begley and his wife Laura Begley. It’s a family affair! The proceeds from this anthology go to my little local library here in Tiny Town, to support children’s programs and buying books for the library. I think it’s a marvelous fundraiser, one they have been doing for a few years now and has helped them a lot.
If you still need more to get you through the weekend, you might grab Alma Boykin’s latest Familiar Generations tale, Land Magic and Shadows. Her books are always comfort reads, easy to slip into.
I discovered a new-to-me cosy mystery author recently, which my readers may enjoy, Margaret Yorke. I read through her Oxford Don mysteries, which seem to have been published around 1970 and are being re-released by her heirs. They were pleasant, with engaging characters and amusing plots. The first three of this series are in KU, making it easy to binge read.
Happy Reading!
There was a problem with the publisher’s preorder, so if you preordered, that will have been cancelled.
As always, links out to Amazon are affiliate links and help offset the costs of running a blog, buying books, and in general cost you nothing but are much appreciated!

I just ordered "Claus of War" as a Christmas present for Son F, "Epic Fail". It seems just the sort of thing he will like.
Proud DD-214 owner, and the book is in the queue.
